Indian youth volleyball team had to settle for silver at the Asian Under-23 Volleyball Championships in Myanmar on Sunday. The Indian team made history for the first time by making it to the finals. He qualified for the Under-23 World Championships by reaching the finals, but was defeated by Chinese Taipei 25–21, 25–20, 19–25, 25–23 in the final to win the title.
Indian coach Pritam Singh Chauhan said, "Today was not our day but I am proud of my players who have done really well. We could not win the gold but this silver is also special for us. "Indian team will return home on August 13.
Let us know that for the first time in this tournament, the Indian team gave a tough fight to Chinese Taipei and returned in the third set after missing two sets. The team, however, lost the fourth set by a very narrow margin.

Pritam Singh Chauhan said, "We wanted to return to the country with a gold medal, but for me this silver medal is also special because the young players worked hard to reach here."
