BCCI tied up with AIR for live commentary

The Board of Control for Cricket in India signed an agreement on Tuesday with the objective of extending its matches to the far flung areas of the country. BCCI has tied up with All India Radio for two years with national radio channel All India Radio. Under which live commentary can be heard on the AIR of his matches. After this step of the Indian board, the information of the matches will be accessible to millions of cricket lovers living in the remote areas of the country.

Under this agreement on AIR, live commentary will be made for the first Twenty20 match of the series between India and South Africa. This match will be played in Dharamshala. Apart from international matches on AIR, domestic matches of men's and women's cricket teams will also be telecast live. The two-year agreement between BCCI and All India Radio will start from 10 September 2019 till 21 August 2021.

The domestic tournaments which can be heard live commentary on AIR include Ranji Trophy, Duleep Trophy, Deodhar Trophy, Women's Challenger Series, Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy Super League, Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy League, Irani Cup.
